I never got to see him live, but back in college during the late 80s, early 90s I remember every dorm room TV was tuned to WGN when the Bulls were playing.
Seemed like everyone watched the games and talked about Jordan's nightly performance.
"And now...the starting line up for your World Champion Chicago Bulls"
