I went to the first game Saturday morning. Rocky definitely didn't have his best stuff. But just like Koger he battled through it and didn't put us in a hole. That is a good sign in that when our pitchers had so so days they didn't fold and yield like 8 runs.

Hitting wise this lineup is potent. Burgreen has started strong and it seems Tella, Cooper, and Tomscha are producing RBIs like we hoped they would. I thought we did a good job of working counts and making their pitchers throw a lot of pitches.

Defensively Glevenyak is still a gaping hole. Just makes too many errors on routine plays. I would not be surprised to see him move to a DH position later in the year if his defense continues the way it has

Overall I was happy with what I saw. The bullpen has been as good as advertised so far just hope our starters pick it up a bit. There is a lot of pop in this lineup and I think you will see more HRs this season and hopefully more runs period.

Hopefully we finish this series right and start the year with a sweep!

So Middle Tennessee State is up next. They are (2-2) this season: won a series against Ball State 2-1, then lost to Austin Peay in a single game.
Do we know anything else about these guys?

We should win right?
