As a LSU fan, alumn, current student, and Baton Rouge native i can say that through my experience LSU doesn't have a "traditional" rival.

This makes sense.

LSU has played Tulane more than anyone but with Tulane de-emphasizing athletics the series ended. In two years LSU will have played Ole Miss in more games, but this is not much of a rivalry due to LSU's lopsided record in the series.

After Florida the next team with whom LSU has played a considerable number of games would be A&M. Yet that rivalry had long stretches (nine, 15, and 19 years) where the teams didn't play (the 15-year stretch being broken due to a bowl matchup). Now that LSU and A&M are conference foes, and the schools being near each other (and often competing for the same recruits) this may have the best chance of developing a "traditional rivalry".
