He's an upgrade over Stud. I dont think anyone would question that. But I'm not sure it's going to matter with Les. I have my doubts but time will tell. I'll have to see it to be convinced.

I think a guy with 10+ years OC experience will get the reigns. Les had a vice grip on the O because we didn't have a real OC. Just converted a frickin' position coach with no experience as an OC.

I might be inclined to give Les the benefit of the doubt here. Les seemed to have given Crowton free reign for 2007 and most of 2008. It was only near the end of 2008 that he really put a chokehold on the offense.
Les and Cam go way back. I believe that if there is any other coach in the world that Les would totally trust with the offense it would be Cam. Even if it's just a debate that happens on Tuesday during game planning, I think that Les would be more willing to hear Cam out and perhaps concede a point or two to the very seasoned playcalling veteran.
That's my hope anyway.
