technically this did agree to equal revenue but in reality they did not.

They only agreed to equal sharing of conference money once they had the LHN to ensure they would still make more than everyone else in the Big 12.

Since the LHN essentially kills any shot at a full Big 12 net, they are still refusing to be an equal partner.

They claim its fair because every school is free to strike their own deal but they damn well know nobody else is going to be able to create their own national network backed by by an ESPN sized entity.

Hell, the second biggest brand in the Big 12 OU was only able to strike a deal for extra regional coverage on Fox Sports SW.

But OU was smart enough to know (based in part on the disaster of the LHN) that such a deal wouldn't work for them. So they worked out their deal for the state and the Ark-La-Tex area. No albatross for them.
