I can't disagree unless by successful you mean win the SEC occasionally. Arkansas can certainly be successful in the sense that they can win 10 games some years. But IMO a lot of programs could win 10 games in the SEC every now and then - it is a lot harder of a thing to win games 11, 12, and 13 when you're competing within the conference against 4-6 teams that may be more "talented".

I would argue the difference between winning 10 and 13 is minimal talent wise and has more to do with that little bit of luck that separates championship teams from top 10 teams. If we can get to where we consistently win 9 10 games a year (which is where petrino had us going with the same shitty recruiting) then eventually the stars will align for us.
