the last that's not gonna get it done is the hook. That's the hook because
1. he has nothing to support that we can't be a successful program with rankings in the 30s or even high 20s.
2. this question is constantly discussed, it's like me bringing up how bama beating LSU so badly in the national championship game deflated the LSU program from its former elite status to a more defeatable status (aka saban made you guys quit)

I can't disagree unless by successful you mean win the SEC occasionally. Arkansas can certainly be successful in the sense that they can win 10 games some years. But IMO a lot of programs could win 10 games in the SEC every now and then - it is a lot harder of a thing to win games 11, 12, and 13 when you're competing within the conference against 4-6 teams that may be more "talented".
