I get the joke, but just so everyone knows the real story Saban has actually lobbied for a 9 game conference schedule.

"lobbied" is a far cry from the generic coach speak that comes out of his mouth. He also has said he doesn't think you should play anyone outside of BCS conferences, yet Colorado State, Georgia State, and Chattanooga are still on the schedule...
