I've lost a mom, dad, and sister to cancer, so I've had too much experience in that type of death. My most sincere condolences.Just be strong & enjoy the moments you do have with him. But I saw way too many deaths in Nam, and there is a huge difference when the light goes off so fast in the eyes of a fellow 19 yr old soldier. One minute he's alive, in a matter of seconds, he goes down & the lights go off in the blink of an eye. And ignore those Hollywood/John Wayne cowboy type deaths. The real thing is horrible, regardless of how it occurs.

I've had loved ones who have passed away, but have never had to literally watch it. I can't imagine the grief. To all here who've had to endure that, and to all that will, thoughts & prayers are sent.
