One that could have redefined Tennessee will always be 11/14/1998. If Stoerner holds on to the ball and we successfully nurse the clock, UT likely doesn't play for the NC. In fact, given the landscape of the SEC at the time it's highly unlikely UT gets back to the mountain top as they have shown.

That game saves UT from having to look back to 1951 as their last AP National Title. 62 years.

UT still would've played for it because everyone in front of them lost (K St and UCLA on the final weekend).
