Tie breakers are only used to determine first place in the division! Don't bring up the co-champion banner, bc I thought it was stupid too!

I'm developing a hypothesis that placing 3rd in the West for some unknown reason makes that team's fans much more unbearable. I expect us to finish 3rd in the West next year in a rebuilding season, so I'll start writing down all the "TAMU only finished higher because we had a harder east schedule" and "Bama only won the West because the SEC office is in Birmingham" etc.
