If you feel that way fine, but you have no idea how much I do or do not know about college baseball so before you open your mouth and make an arse of yourself by making such a comment you should think about what your saying before you say it.

My comment was about how many top high school players go pro instead of going to college and frankly if you're any good in college you turn pro. You don't spend 4 years playing baseball in college unless you're not as good as the other players. That, to me, means the quality of baseball is less than if those players all played college ball.

I didn't want to play this card because I'm not one to think that you had to play the game in order to know anything about the game, but since we are talking about MY knowledge and no one else's, I did play college baseball. So yes, I think I know something about college baseball. It really is tempting to ask you how much college BASEBALL you played and if that answer is nil then you need to STFU but I won't do that. I think you are entitled to your opinions and if you think college baseball is on par with professional ball at nearly any level, you are entitled to that opinion. I have a problem when you start passing judgment on other people's knowledge though when you clearly make such statements without knowng shite about that person.

I can tell you from my own experience that coming out of high school, our best players went straight to pro ball. Our lesser players, including myself, played in college. So when a poster wants to question Mizzou's lack of support for baseball when they support the Royals and Cardinals, I think it's an idiotic statement to make and it's going to get an idiotic response. They are trying to draw a correlation to the Cardinals and Royals and in relation to the Cardinals and Royals yes, college ball is shite ball. The best college ball is on par with Single A ball, at the very most Double A. Programs like Mizzou's probably isn't even that good. So yes, in comparison, it is shite ball.
