Call me when Jimmah wins 4 national championships in 8 years.

Pretty ridiculous to compare the apple to an orange, but you go, girl.

Saban was an NFL guy. Saban adapted and learned how to recruit better than the other college coaches. Because he was/is a better recruiter, he is able to get athetically superior players. By doing this, he was able to rise to the highest level he could go in college. once he reached the peak, he wanted to try his ability against the elite that football has to offer. He tried it for a couple years and got bitch slapped back to college ball where he knows he can have an advantage over the far majority of teams he plays against. I don't see a problem with it. He tried, he couldn't handle the pressure and wanted less pressure. Lots of people would choose the path of least resistance.

What Jim Harbaugh did at Stanford was nothing short of incredible. He did a very good job building that team into a consistent Top 10 program. That being said, however, what he did at San Francisco was not as great. That franchise was a sleeping giant and the talent was already in place for him to succeed. All that was required was a coach that could get the job done.
