Hello, I'm a new poster. What do you think is the best case scenario and the worst case scenario for next football season?

Best is 14-0 win national championship. Worst is 9-4 including bowl game.

I have to agree with you the best case scenario is a 14-0 season capped off with vengeance wins against Bama in the SEC title game and Ohio State in the National Title game.
And 9-4 seems like a good worst case scenario, which means we lose our biggest games.

It would be awesome if we beat Ohio state in the national championship lol.

Well if you guys remember Muschamp owns Meyer. He beat us twice at Auburn. That 09 SEC title loss exposed us. So I really want the Gators to beat Bama like the Giants beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Jeff Driskel comes of age and throws a miracle catch to Latroy Pittman for the stomach punch. We destroy their Dynasty like they destroyed ours.
I hope we can get Ohio State in the National Title game so we can run up the score like Meyer did while he was here in UF.

Yeah that's true. I think driskel will be much better this upcoming season. Demarcus Robinson and Ahmad Fulwood will both start early I think plus the o-line will be a lot better too. Running up the score would be awesome or knee it at the end and call timeouts like we did against Georgia in 2008 lol.

Thank goodness Coach Muschamp is here. Meyer didn't want to rebuild the program. I can imagine the best case scenario, First undefeated season, first Rose Bowl, Driskel becoming Eli Manning lite. lol

Yeah I think Muschamp is here for good. Florida football is back. The swamp is back too.

Best case -
The offense takes huge leaps in Pease's 2nd year, returning their QB, what we hope is a better, deeper OL, and new play makers emerge from a very deep freshmen WR class to accompany what is a devestating ground game.
UF doesn't miss a beat at safety, and suffers few injuries at LB and a few newcomers contribute immediately in 2 deep on the front 7. UF is just as tough as last year.
UF doesn't miss Caleb Sturgis all that much.
14-0 National title.
Worst Case
Driskel never really emerges at QB, and none of the incoming freshmen are much immediate help in what is again an anemic passing attack. The running game is weaker than last year without Gillislee and Pease year 2 sees little improvement.
The defense takes big steps back losing leaders in all 3 levels of the defense. The biggest losses are felt right up the middle at DT, LB, and Safety, where UF repeatedly surrenders big plays.
The new UF kicker is inconsistent and doesn't have good range and UF loses a number of close defensive battles because of poor kicking and good, but not good enough defense. They lose all toss ups plus 1 or 2 they shouldn't and they struggle to 7-5.
I think they hit the middle, somewhere between 10-2 and 8-4. Time will tell.

Hello DocZauis, I would say that wins against Bama in the SEC title game and Ohio State in the National Title game would be the greatest UF season of all time. It would be a great
to the two people who almost destroyed our football program.
