I don't think anyone saw that coming.
John Beasley had 5 40+ games between 1965-1966, and Bennie Lennox holds the record with 53 set in 1963. Turner's performance was the first 40+ game since 1985.

Nice to beat the defending champions in their house. In your view CGSC, does it help clean up the shite stain left over from the Southern game?

Elston Turner highlights- Played like a Man Possessed
Elston Turner- wow. I haven't seen such a display of individual performance by an Aggie since Acie Law. People will speak in awe at the mere mention of your name.

It helps, but it's still a LONG conference season. There are a lot of bad teams (record notwithstanding) in the SEC, and many opportunities for bad losses. If we somehow win against Florida on Thursday, I'll be a true believer.

CGSC, I really do wonder if the poor performances got everyone's attention and someone lit a fire under their asses. These last 2 games I think are what Kennedy-ball are supposed to look like. At least I hope so, because it has been fun.

Here's a point of improvement that I think many haven't noticed.
Over the last season and a half, Elston Turner has had one major flaw in his shooting: He almost always would miss the front end of his free throws. The most important FT to make is ALWAYS the first, especially in the 1 and 1.
Looks like he might have fixed that now.
