It was a rebuilding year

And thankfully Bama was given a schedule to help with that rebuilding process. Played 2 regular season games against legit teams and "nearly" lost both of those. LSU on the other hand played 4 regular season games against legit teams.
But there's no preferential treatment for Bama. None at all.

ETA: Surely next season's schedule will be different. Right?

And the SEC has already set us up for a 3-peat. Our schedule next year is arguably softer than our schedule was this past year.

And in a few years when Bama is playing the tough East teams while LSU plays the weaker teams will you bitch and moan and cry injustice then? These schedules are on a cycle.
