Serious questin....How do you truly know how good of a coach he is when his teams talent outmatches the opposition every time.
Think about this for a second. The teams that have beaten Bama over the past 3 years have what in common?
LSU's talent is comparable to Bama's. They beat Bama in 2010 with what many would call a handicap coach in Miles. Later that season Bama ran up against another team with comparable talent that season.....Auburn. What happened.
The next season Bama's only loss again was to a team with comparable talent in LSU.
Think about this season. Bama's 3 tough games....LSU came down to the wire....comparable talent, aTm beat Bama with NFL talent on O and D lines, UGA in the conference championship with comparable talent.
All I'm trying to say is that he's average at best even in college when he's matched up against teams that are as talented as his. Which just happened to be the same story for him in the pros. He was an average at best NFL coach because his team was equally talented to the majority of the league. I'll say it again....the NFL will expose you as a head coach if you not good enough.
I kinda agree with this. Why didn't he win it all at Michigan State? How good is Saban at coaching up a roster full of 3 stars?
It's easy to coach the Yankees/Bama/LSU/.

We agree.

How can people think recruiting all this "superior" talent has isn't part of coaching?
