BS. Bear would've won more in this format. Probably would've gotten to play Texas and Earl Campbell instead of a #5 Notre Dame.
Something else. Under BCS format, Lou wouldn't have his title. He would've had to replay Miami and they would've kicked his arse in the rematch. That was not a team you wanted angry and motivated to beat you.
