Do we have any chance with the JUCO DT's?

Since we lost the KC kid to Nebraska this weekend we need to get one or both of the JUCO DT's. We need to start getting more JUCO players anyway.
If we refuse to hire coaches that have connections in Georgia and Florida then we need to get JUCO players for a pipeline to the JUCO schools. Markus Golden did his best to get his buddies here. If we could have had a few more then we might have had a chance.
Why we do not have a presence in Hutchinson JC is beyond me. Right next door to us.

They are going to Auburn. It's pretty much certain, would be shocked if one or both came here.

Not getting either of them, this recruiting class is not looking too hot on the DT front. We will start hearing about some plan D options now

You know the answer to this.
Remember a year ago when recruiting was going to see a bump up because of the move?
Things certainly have changed.
But the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Pretty much get ready to have google up around Signing Day, because we are about to sign 5 recruits that nobody has ever heard of.

But they will be hidden gems. Besides, so what if they are 2 stars, you know the stars mean nothing. It'll be interesting to see what happens at this point. Hopefully we can get Augusta to commit now. He's the only one I can think of off the top of my head that we have a legit shot at that is also strongly considering Mizzou.

Mixon and Crawford are both 265+. One or both of those guys could moved inside after packing on 25-30 lbs.

I hear Augusta has some qualification issues as well. That means even if he does commit, neither him or Antar are going to make it to Mizzou. PERFECT! Thanks Gary

We shouldbt be playing DTs that are under 300 pounds in this conference. On top of that Mixon is a lean dude in body build. No way he needs to be at DT in this conference.

LSU Starting DTs: 287# 295#
A&M : 280# 310#
USC: 286# 316#
Vandy: 290# 288#
The worse defenses also had some. Obviously, playing DTs under 300# isn't that big of a deal. Hell, Sheldon was under 300lbs this year.

Is Antar for sure not going to qualify? I'm not in the loop on it.
