Question about Little Rock kids

Why do most Little Rock kids that go to UofA immediately move back to LR after graduation? It's like they can't get back there quick enough, what's so appealing? And don't say family, 22 year olds don't care about moving closer to their parents unless the parents are sick or they have children, that I understand but I have never understood this phenomenon.

Central Arkansas connections aren't optimal for getting a jerb in NWA.

You'd think they could develop some in 4 years. If city life is important there are so many better urban areas than Little Rock that are relatively close, Dallas, OKC and KC among them.

KC, Dallas, OKC. In that order.

Some people want a more urban lifestyle, and Little Rock still offers a bigger, more diverse job market.
There's not really anything urban about NWA, which is why a lot of people love it.

you expect anything they do to make sense?

I would have loved to stay in Fayetteville, but I couldn't get the type of job I wanted there right away, so I moved back home with my folks in Little Rock and saved some money while looking for my career job; I thought my job prospects in Little Rock would be much better since that's where I had grown up. Most people want to stay in Fayetteville and there is a lot of competition for those jobs as there should be.
I eventually found a job in Denver and took it. I would probably prefer Fayetteville over Denver, but I'm not complaining.
As for other Little Rock kids, the motivation to move back is job prospects, family, and the fact that all your other life long friends from Little Rock have moved back. By the time I was finishing up grad school, I had one friend in Fayetteville with me from Little Rock and I started my freshman year with a ton of friends from Little Rock.
Also, by the time you get to be 25, you start feeling like a 35 year old on Dickson with all those undergrads. I was fine with that, but had I stuck around for another few years it would probably start feeling a little depressing.
