with a chance at an undefeated season last year Houston was blown out at home by Southern Miss.

He's fortunate to have had Case Keenum and, so far, Manziel.

Manziel is great. No doubt about that. But, someone has to put great players in situations they can flourish in. A good coach creates those situations. We all know coaches who don't create those situations; some of those coaches have even won BCS championships.

And Drew Bledsoe, and Drew Brees, and Jason White, and Sam Bradford...

Hmmm... you really think anyone on earth is THAT lucky? Maybe it's a little more than luck? He's already proven via the Cotton Bowl (where our offensive play-calling looked the best it has all year) that Kliff Kingsbury had nothing to do with our success.
