I actually don't know the answer to that question Think my black-man card got revoked a long time ago though

Samuel McCulloch, Jr. a black freed slave was the first casualty of the Texas Revolution.
I'm a white dude, and that makes ME proud as frick.



ETA: And I didn't know that either until I looked it up to respond to Rebelgator.


So no worries. I am just shocked that the Samuel McColloch story is not more publicized.
