How fun was that to watch?....
Props to Martinez for not backing down, but I think Shawn got the last laugh......
Wish I could of heard what he was whispering in Martinez's ear on that last sack.

I think I'm gonna miss Shawn Williams the most out of the group leaving on D. His passionate play and swagger on the field was matched by no one. Also, he is responsible for the Florida game

The number one highlight of the season for me..... was when he ripped that dude's arm out its socket to prevent the 1st down in the Florida game.........

After that play I knew our Defense was gonna be for real in that game. They all played with that pissed off at the world attitude that Shawn plays with every single game. I wanna go back and watch that game again now

Shawn was without a doubt the heart and soul of this defense. People can criticize his "thuggery" and shite talking all they want but this guy plays the game the way it is supposed to be played. This isn't 1967 guys are going to talk shite and get in each others faces, just the way the game is now. I will miss Shawn more than Jarvis because of how infectious his will to win is and how he plays every snap like it's his last. Don't get me wrong I love me some JJ as well but as far as lighting a fire under everyones arse Shawn is #1 and it ain't even close

Well said. He just plays the game with a passion and emotion that is hard to find. He didn't just have it against Alabama and Florida, he also had it against FAU and Buffalo, he just loves the game.

And your self-righteous arse would love to have 11 just like him on your team.

Agree. I don't like mouthy players and these are just the kind of players that contribute to our discipline problems and numerous dumbass penalties.

Just admire sportsmanship - clobber the snot out of your opponent, help him up, pat him on the back side - repeat as neccessary

To be fair, Shawn Williams saved their season. After the game with us, he challenged his own teammates, called them soft and accosted them to be a better unit. They responded well and had one of their best games of the year against UF. Classless people don't usually show that much character/determination/self respect.

He's passionate, him and Taylor were going at it all game. This is football, not soccer.

Shawn actually didn't get many penalties at all this year. All that talking gets him and the team pumped up trust me. It's how sports are played today, even at the high school level, I can't even count the amount of times the last two years in football or basketball I've exchanged words with somebody after a play, not nice ones either, but that stuff gets me even more motivated to whip their arse.

I love Shawn Williams.
And I am shocked. SHOCKED!
That he was never suspended, arrested, or expelled.
The guy has a mean streak that is handled the right way on the field. To the Husker fan, Williams wasn't flagged for anything that occurred between he and Martinez. Like I said. His mean streak is done the right way.
And for Shawn... F James Franklin. That POS dirtbag. I want Grantham to piss in those Vandy grits again next season.

For starters Shawn is a GREAT (not good) player. Maybe if your boy Martinez would have remembered his place and not tried to be Billy Badass you would feel differently. All Shawn did was bust his punkass, just like any other Big 10 defense right? Naw man this is SEC football, talk shite and get hit. To be completely honest I think yall are damn lucky he didn't leave the field on a cart.

Yea all Shawn Williams was doing was backing up HIS defense that YOUR toolbag quarterback was talking shite about.

I'm gonna miss Williams the most. This kid just loved to knock the shite out of people, and didn't take any shite from people.

Bless your corn-fed heart. You don't have the slightest clue about dirty & classless players. Jawing is run-of-the-mill down here.
