Would you consider them in the top 5 anymore? I'm not sure if I would.

Nope. They are on the outside looking in.

1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Texas A&M
5. South Carolina

6. LSU
7. Vandy

To be fair, LSU had a tough draw in the schedule this year against SEC East teams. I haven't seen next year's schedules for anyone but the Aggies. Perhaps the scheduling gods will be kinder to LSU for 2013.

I'll address the '13 schedule first.

LSU goes from playing #2 and #3 from the east in '12 to playing #1 and #2. While bama goes from playing #5 and #6 from the east in '12 to playing #6 and #7.

Is it any suprise that the two SEC teams that had the two easiest conference schedules in '12 met in atlanta for the title?

The scheduling gods are being so much kinder to the tigers in '13.

LSU is still the same team that beat the cocks and aggies. They are still the same team that took bama to the final play of the game.

LSU gets @UGA and Florida in BR.

I think LSU is still up there in the top 3-4 of the SEC. They aren't behind any team in the SEC. We beat SC and A&M, should've beaten Bama. We had an off day in our bowl. shite happens. If you want to believe LSU is second teir, fine by me, but when you play them, I think you will find out they are still as talented as any team in the country.

10-3 is a decent year by LSU standards and not what anyone wanted in BR, but we also played more freshmen than any other team in the country this year and they all come back. We aren't going anywhere.
