they only end up with Heisman trophy winners as their scraps.

Citing the exception rather than the rule is always good for distortion.

But he's not even a true exception - RG3 wasn't heavily recruited. If Briles hadn't left UH he'd have been a Cougar.

comparing yourself with Baylor is a distortion, in a bad way.

Lol.

Is that what you took from the post? So did the striking down of your "gift-wrapped because of location" theory -- genius as it may be -- just sorta evade you?

Shannon is a douche and a liar. Perfect fit?

It will help Arkansas more than they'll ever know. Or maybe his best friend will get shot in either Baton Rouge, College Station, or Gainesville, even though Walter Odom died of an illness when he was 36. Nice going piggies!

So they would have had 2 Heisman QBs in the last 25 years or so.

So by your rationale Houston should be pulling in top 25 classes as well?

I was giving your school credit, you compared yourself to Baylor but if you feel you're on the same level with them recruiting wise in the state of Texas then you know better than I do.

Yup, neither of which were highly recruited. They were considered recruiting scraps.

It's amazing you guys haven't fumbled across one of these diamonds in the rough - what with all the Texas scrubs you've signed over the years.

those scrubs won 21 games in two seasons under a real head coach, and still have a winning record against you over the past 4 season.

Or do our wins not count?

We've only been playing 5* and 4*s at the QB position, sorry you suck at recruiting the position.

They have to luck into guys who couldn't get the Texas offer they coveted. Mack's ineptitude won them a Heisman this year, much like it did Baylor last year.

The point has entirely flown over your head.

I was attacking the implication - rather, the assertion, that A&M lands kids only because of where it's located. Was that not the thrust of your "gift-wrapped because of location" comment? Lol.

You guys did things unconventionally. That is, winning with shitty players. If you think that's a recipe for sustained winning -- and one that doesn't require a brilliant coach like BMFP -- then fine. Boast away.
