For example, Josh Chapman signed in 2007 with Bama. He started for the 2011 BCS NC team. That's 5 years at Bama right there.

But only half those recruits get acknowledged by Saban when they pass each other in the hall.

I think he's saying that there is a good opportunity for every single recruit Saban gets to win a natty under him.

It's a pretty impressive stat

If you were to only assume 4 year terms for each class....then every class would still have at least 1 national title.
