I'd say the one who has actually played in the SEC championship.

Pretty well, considering that we pushed the national champs to the brink -- and led with 7:00 to go in the 4th quarter.
so they hung 10 on ya'll in under 7 minutes?

Once Saban leaves, we will get back to beating Bama on a regular basis. From 96-2007 we split.
splitting isnt winning "on a regular basis"
if it is, then you also lost "on a regular basis"
to answer the OP, I think the rebs. they can get the talent, they will just have to have a lot of breaks go thier way.
as a caviat, Ill add that I do NOT believe either team from the land mass will win one in my lifetime. Im 25.

If Ole Miss can finally break through (like LSU did with Saban), they could be pretty good. So I'll go with Ole Miss. Miss State is just a bad program: no evidence to support the contrary
But they made it to Atlanta 14 years ago when the West was down! That means their program is far superior and it shouldn't even be a question as to who will make it to 'lanta first.

If Freeze keeps on recruiting like he's been, i gotta go with Ole Miss but i don't think either will be going to Atlanta anytime soon.

it isn't a question, State did.. OM never has. Y'all hang your hats on two Cotton bowl berths and some antique success in the 50s/60s and pretend to be light years ahead of MSU.. It's hilarious.

Done what? Made it to Atl?
Won the SEC, dumbass.
If you can brag about something that happened in 1998, then I can brag about the 50's and 60's, because neither mean shite in 2012 and beyond.

In the 20 years of the SEC title game, no team has come closer to knocking off the Big6 than Mississippi State did in 1998. DWI.
Again, the fact that you think this is something which impresses anybody is sad.

So 1 divisional title > 6 SEC championships and a national championship?
Please tell me you're joking.
I'll take our success in the 50's, 60's and early 70's over that 1 divisional title State has. And so would every other SEC school.

And you somehow think that hanging your hat on LOSING in the SEC Championship Game fourteen years ago is any better?

No, but I don't run around acting like MSU is something more than it is either. But, based on the last few years I'd definitely say MSU is more likely. Plus I'm biased, so it doesn't even matter. Neither school is close, nor has the incoming talent or potential as of late. OM is better known nationally, for other reasons unfortunately..
Please keep acting like OM is in rare air when compared to State..

How will TSUNs pre- race war NC victories help you achieve this? MSU has been much more successful RECENTLY, therefore they are definitely closer than OM..

did you know about this Mississippi State Alumni? Robert B Patterson

Ole Miss has proven they can compete in the SEC with an under sized team. MSU has proven they belong in the Sun Belt and their schedule has reflected this.
