All Garner has to say is, "We evaluated you as an OLB in the 3-4. Grantham was the one evaluating you and not offering you". Whether it's true or not, there's an explanation.
I think Lawson sticks around, unlike Liner. Lawson wants everything to work out with AU, and is giving them the chance to do so. It's going to be a mad dash to the finish, but AU has the upper hand and will keep it IMO

I have no idea why but Lawson is trying his best to stick around. I am going to wait until he sees the staff on campus to decide if he stays but he is putting in the effort to come to AU
Liner on the other hand is definitely trolling someone. He is telling both AU and UA good things. Milking both programs for anything they will give him
