I also think Pinkel will need to go 8-4 to keep his job. Maybe 7-5, but more likely 8-4. I can only hope Josh Henson turns out to be a good OC, and we find a QB coach with SEC recruiting ties.

Im starting to think that Pinkel will be done in two years or so regardless of what happens. Riding Mizzou through the transition and then retiring. I dont know why but Im starting to think this was the plan all along.

Shooting for 8-4 year after year, isn't going to cut it. I tend to agree with the "GP is gone no matter what in a couple of years" theory. His ceiling was reached long ago.

He got Mizzou into the SEC, he'll handle the transition, but there will have to be someone that can take it up a notch to replace him.
