But you've only got 2 defensive players in the top 67 and since that's the new benchmark for a good class, what gives?

Counting 2012 and 2013 classes so far Bama has 8 defensive commitments ranked in the top 100 on 247, five of them are 5 stars.

Georgia has 6 and only one of them is a five star.

The 2013 class is lighter on defense. The 2012 class was loaded.
