Take this last draft:

Of the 32 1st rounders, 4 were 5* according to Rivals.com out of high school.

14 were 4*'s.

But, any given year there only about 30 5* players, so the % of 5*s drafted in the 1st round equals 13.3%.

For 4*s, there are at least 300 any given year. So, the % of 4*s drafted in the 1st round equals 4.7%


Just this 1 NFL draft alone, 5* players out of high school proved to be nearly 3X higher 1st round draft probability than 4* players
