Murray threw a pass 40 yards downfield. It was intercepted. The ball was returned 40 yards back downfield. Murray ran to within 10 yards of the ball carrier, and then got blocked. There was helmet to helmet contact. You don't get suspended for that though.
I don't think you've seen the play.

Not a whole lot of mental toughness with this one.

Mr. Flakes, how does this prove me wrong and you as correct? Murray threw a pass and a few second later got laid out on a helmet to helmet hit. ANY other team and that player would have been suspended, but your guy didn't even get flagged. I could really care less about Alabama or your fellow drunk inbred fans. What I do care about is that the SEC office gives more of a damn about money than it does about fairness. If Alabama was on the bottom and other teams were on the top, you'd get the stinky stick too.
you seriously are retarded.
$100 says you have never played a single sport in your life too

To summarize, then, Alabama gets all of the breaks from the SEC and particularly SEC refs, and gets all of the breaks in regular season scheduling, and never plays anyone worth a damn, and commits offensive holding on every play, and gets undeserved rematches, and is the epitome of entitled arrogance because of some ancient historical texts, and claims too many national championships, and pays its players, and no Alabama fan ever attended the University, and, and, and did I leave anything out?

SEC press release for Elston Suspension:
This action was the result of a flagrant and dangerous act which occurred at the 3:18 mark in the fourth quarter. The action is in violation of Rule 9-1-4 of the NCAA Football Rule Book, which reads, “No player shall target and initiate contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, elbow or shoulder,” and Rule 9-1-3 which states, “No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet.”
This action is taken in accordance with Southeastern Conference Constitution, Article 4.4.2 (d) which states that a student-athlete may be suspended if it is determined that the student-athlete has committed a flagrant or unsportsmanlike act.
To me, the issue is that Elston should not have been suspended because others in the league were not after similar infractions of the above cited rules. Additionally, other players, including Dial committed offenses that were arguably more "flagrant and unsportsmanlike," thus more deserving of suspension under Article 4.4.2(d). Dial violated rule 9-1-3. Certainly, Dial is not the only player who had a hit as or more "flagrant" than Elston's. His was simply the one on the biggest stage with the biggest implication of a possible suspension.
Slive had a knee jerk reaction with Elston due to another players injury. His refusal to act against Dial, his delay in making this decision, and his previous decision to allow a letter of apology stand as punishment for another Alabama player create an appearance of favoritism.
I think he just stepped in it with Elston. Not upset about Dial not being suspended, but his hit is as suspension worthy as Elston's because he violated 9-1-3.

I bet Masoli wouldn't make that mistake. He'd be more worried about his parks and recreation career.

Yeah I'm uneducated. I tried to get a parks and recreation degree from Ole Miss but I wasn't accepted. Broke my heart.

A) there is no chance OP is a college grad. He can't understand clearly written rules.
B) Ole Miss is barely a real college.
