If you really were 4th generation Floridian, you would know that real Floridians before the Yankee invasion did not call those "redfish"...

Actually, they were called different names depending on the area of FL you lived in. Redfish was indeed one of them.

Well I call them redfish, but I'm curious what the "original name" is, so please enlighten this poor yankee

Serious question, do they even have any "redfish" in Georgia? Have you ever caught one before?
