Zanca told to GTFO. Barnes and Goeas have also been told they cannot come here. Skipper gone too in all likelihood. Still a few questionable takes on the commit list, but this is a good start. Koehler looks to have been the only kid worth taking that we will lose due to the coaching change.

But, but, but.....VN says the sky is falling!

Agreed. Did NOT like several of the commits we were taking. Too many projects, not enough real prospects.

But then again, I sorta have the feeling Jones still thinks he is recruiting for Cincy. There was a reason he got run out of Neyland his last time playing there, and it wasn't cause he was out coached...

Because he was playing us at full strength against his Big East players?

I was trying to say that it seems to me that he is still going after the same level players that he had at Cincy. Not upper tier SEC level players.

He's already taken away some offers, which is a good start. Let's see what he can pull.

I see this class ending out of the top 25. Which will be the first time ever, at least from what I remember.

Supra, I know you are a Butch fan, but can you honestly say this staff (outside of JG) resembles anything close to the best in the country???

If Lawson signs with UT, I will absolutely come back here and let everyone serve me my crow with a side of humble pie. I just cannot see it happening. Serious question: Are there any top prospects that are now talking with TN that weren't previously?

ETA: I'll give you Kamara. Don't think we had a chance with him before Butch.

No. Fulmer produced 2 out of 3 turd classes, which lead to his end.

There's a ton of guys that are interested in us now because of our new staff. In case you hadn't noticed, Dooley didn't give a shite about our instate players. Good riddance to that pompous entitled frick.

Couldn't agree more with this part. Especially the bold.

It's really hard to recruit when you are as terrible as we are right now. This isn't even 2009.

Sure Gruden could do it, but he would also cure AIDs with his farts.

I will give bUTch credit where it is due. The event with the lettermen was a class move, and a good step towards healing our program.

He just told Dooley's players to leave, and you think this?

1. That post was made before those schollys were
pulled.
2. Who is he replacing them with??? Still seems
to me that he is looking at the same level of
player he was after at Cincy.

Unless you are bama and can pick wich 5 star players you want, recruiting can only be evaluated fairly after a couple of years.
