Rushing yards:

Total yards:

Newton - 4,327 (14 games)
Tebow - 4,181 (13 games)

Passing touchdowns:

Tebow - 32 (13 games)
Newton - 30 (14 games)
Manziel - 24 (1 game remaining)

Rushing touchdowns:

Tebow - 23 (13 games)
Newton - 20 (14 games)
Manziel - 19 (1 game remaining)

Total touchdowns:

Manziel - 43 (1 game remaining)

Completion percentage:

Manziel - 68.2% (1 game remaining)
Tebow - 66.9% (13 games)
Newton - 66.1% (14 games)

Analysis:

Tim Tebow was almost the entire Florida offense in 2007 by himself. He accounted for 23 of their 39 rushing touchdowns, all of their passing touchdowns, and 70% of their total offense. Notice that he only had 131 more rushing yards than Percy Harvin, but 17 more rushing touchdowns.

Newton, while a big part of their offense, wasn't the entire focus. While he was their leading rusher, Dyer also had over 1,000 yards and 5 touchdowns and McCalebb had over 800 yards and 9 touchdowns. Newton had all of their passing touchdowns but Auburn was an offensive juggernaut. Even an average season by Cam Newton and they likely would have won the title.

With Manziel, he had less than half of our rushing touchdowns and less than half of our rushing yards. Christine Michael quietly accumulated 12 touchdowns on the ground, and Ben Malena had 7. In other words, Michael and Malena EQUALED Manziel's rushing touchdowns. Manziel is also the only one out of the three quarterbacks in question to NOT have all of his team's passing touchdowns. Jameill Showers had 2 this year. He accounted for more of the total offense than Newton did for the 2010 Tigers, but less than Tebow did for the 2007 Gators.

Wow, its hard to believe Michael had 12 td's. The offense will sustain success bc of that balance.

Johnny's the best passer of the three and will blow tebows numbers out of the water by the time he's done

So in the end, all numbers agree with the fact that Johnny Football is the greatest QB ever? Good.
