They only won one because they had Saban's players. They were lucky to get to go with two losses. Les Miles has a reputation to play down to bad teams. This will be a problem when he loses now that the west is so dominate.

He was just a few plays away from playing for it all this year despite all the suspensions and injuries just to put things into perspective. Sometimes you get those breaks, that team was Bama this year

He also has a reputation of "PLAYING UP" to the competition. Check out the '11 schedule. Beat the rose bowl pac 12 champs and the orange bowl big east champs. Plus tigers were the only team to beat the national champions.
I'm glad the rest of the west is stepping it up.
As for his '07 BCSNC. LSU is the ONLY school in the HISTORY of college football to BEAT FIVE TEAMS that FINISHED the season RANKED TOP 15.
