All indications are that LSU is on the decline. If you think attrition and injuries were bad this year, wait till next season. Les had a good run but all good things come to an end.
All LSU fans will be in denial about this, but the downward trend is obvious and has just started. All the indicators are there.

Have read a lot of posts in this thread that I could respond to but, decided to wait.

Well I couldn't wait anymore.

"downward trend is obvious and has just started. All the indicators are there".

Could you please elaborate on this statement?

Of the 20 offensive players LSU used VS A&M only four were SRs.

On the defensive side VS aggies none of the eight DBs that played were SRs. Not a single SR among the four or five LBs that played "D". D-line only had three SRs, all three played VS aggies, none were a regular starter though.

All that young talent on "D" for the tigers and johnny football went 54 minutes between TDs. Go figure.
