They weren't in the SEC at the time, but I think Arkansas in the mid 60's had as good a staff as you'll ever see. Not to mention Jimmy Johnson was a player on the team at the time.

We did have a pretty good lineup of coaches and future coaches (players). In 1964-65, Frank Broyles had Johnny Majors, Jim Mackenzie, Merv Johnson, and Barry Switzer on staff. Some of the players became good coaches as well, such as Jimmy Johnson, Ken Hatfield, and of course, in his own niche...Jerry Jones. I may be leaving someone out, but they were loaded.
