My bad. Sorry about GA State going FBS. That changes everything

Not really. You're still butthurt about us having an "easy" schedule. It's like you forgot about 09 and 10. We went unbeaten in 09 and had the toughest SoS. We had ten wins in 10 with another very tough schedule when you see all of the bye weeks people had. Just gotta remember that there is no such thing as an easy SEC schedule. And hell, wasn't there talk a couple of months ago about changing next year's conference schedule to nine games?

I obviously thought this thread was made in jest to rile up some LSU fans.

It's sad to realize that Bama really is decending deeper into the "Boise Stateness" that is their schedule. I'd like to issue a preemptive Congrats for beating nobody with a pulse next year.

Yes there is and Bama has it. After next year Bama will have played 1 game, in 3 years, against the top 3 teams in the east.
LSU will have played 5 games, in 3 years , against the top 3 teams in the east.
In 2011 , before the bowl games, Bama ha eaten 3 teams , WITH A WINNING RECORD. That is clearly an easy schedule. Your schedule next year is a joke. You have one game against a team that comes close to Bama's talent and the game is in BDS. You have 2 games that would be considered tough. LSU and A&M.

bama's '09 regular season schedule included all of four games against teams ranked at time of game. By the end of the season only three remained ranked. VT was the only one still in Top 10 at the #10 spot.

LSU's '09 schedule was very similar. End of season ranking showed tigers had three opponents still in the polls with two in Top 5. UGA was ranked at time of game but, fell out of the rankings as the season progressed.

bama's 10 regular season schedule did feature seven ranked opponents but, so did LSU's. At end of season both had played four games against teams still ranked, each with two VS top 10 teams.

Since saban has been at bama I don't think there has been any one season where the tide had a much more difficult schedule than LSU.

In the last six seasons it looks like on at least three occassions the tigers have had a more difficult schedule than the tide, '08, '11 and '12. Maybe even the '07 LSU schedule would be considered more strenous than bama's.
