Don't know much about the guy, but they don't seem to have much of a defense... Not saying he's at fault though.
Also not sure who this "bartwriter" guy is.
ETA: Name's Bart Wright, looks to be a beat writer of sorts

He's fairly well liked, but has been known to ruffle feathers.

DC at Miss State in 08 Been secondary coach at Clemson since 09. Couldn't be much worse than Martinez... With Ellis Johnson and this guy we'd have serious connection in South Carolina.

Are assistants HC hires or Coordinator hires?

Sounds like the Gus Bus is letting Ellis do the defensive hires

He was also the replacement for Ellis at MSU when he left for South Carolina.

From reading his resume, seems like a very well traveled coach. Coached under some good solid coaches. I wouldnt protest this hire, if it were true....

Saw somewhere that him & Ellis are best friends. Said Ellis has a son named after him

Ellis Johnson, Charlie Harbison...a lot of Bama re-treads, and not the good Bama teams, either.
Posted on 12/6/12 at 1:33 pm to thirdlawson
Uhhh wasn't Ellis Johnson on the '92 team?

Harbison is a good football coach and better recruiter. I like this hire.
