I hope they learned something. Look, I am a southerner. I applaud their service to their state in a cause that SEEMED right at the time, but it wasn't. To cling to a name that. at its core, represents a reprehensible institution and time in our history does not sit well with people. Whether the whole school fought or not is irrelevant to that point.

Take this shite to the poli board, no one gives a frick about your white guilt.

The fact is, just about all these mascots were generated organically and have plenty of history. That you choose to be ignorant to it, or try to play it down in some manner is asinine.

And just to be on topic, a mascot that doubles as a condiment should never be number one on any list other than what is the best topping to put on a burger.
