Well, Saban promoted Nutt as his successor at LSU, but that's cause Saban was taking muschamp to the pros with him. I think the job would and should be Kirby's if he hangs around.
I just don't know how much we are gonna have to end up paying him to do so.

He's had a lot of offers and turned them down, it's pretty obvious he wants to go to a good college and isn't going to settle for any old offer.

I agree--glad to see Kirby stay too! If he eventually leaves us he should wait out for the right opportunity. Not every deal is a good one. If he is patient, the right deal will come along. In the mean time, he continues to raise his stock while working with Saban. Win/Win for him.

If he stays until Saban retires he, at the very least, deserves an opportunity to interview and be seriously considered as for the head coach position. Obviously when that day comes we will have to consider all of our options.
