You are partially right. SSN is private information. The rest however is public information in Texas. As for releasing the info without redacting the SSN, that is the fault of the College Station PD. Deadspin is not responsible for their F/U.

By the way, just looked up his DL info below. His record is clean - others named Manziel, not so much.
