What's more challenging than topping the legacy of the greatest college coach to ever walk a sideline?

First few years of his tenure I figured he was gone after 5-7 years. Now I'm convinced he's a lifer. He's changed. Saban is a part of the community. He's not just our coach anymore. Noticed it big time after the tornado. And believe it or not, when he's just eating dinner with alumni or doing something off-camera, he smiles, relaxes and really enjoys himself at Alabama. And there is no place better suited for him than Alabama. He's different, he's a workaholic, he's terse and impatient and sometimes explosive with the media, he's insanely intense, he's focused on process instead of results, and he gets results. And for some weird reason, his very peculiar persona fits perfectly at Alabama. Anywhere else he would be a square peg in a round hole. They wouldn't quite understand him. Bama was made for Saban and Saban was made for Bama.

And other than Joe Paterno, so has everyone else.
Face it, Nick Saban and Alabama are a match made in heaven, and both sides realize it
