You are just one of about 1,000 LSU fans who have posted on this topic since Saban was hired in January 2007. Bottom line is this: it's been 8 years since he left LSU for the NFL. EIGHT YEARS. Get over it! His successor is 85-20 and the second winningest coach in the history of your program. Forget Nick Saban and focus on the present. You've got a very good team that will compete for championships as long as Les Miles is there. What more do you want?

Easy. They want Saban. As good as Miles is (and he is very, very good), they look at what Nick's done at Bama, think about what might have been, and start another Saban to wherever thread.
