Okay but what about Dietzel. He arguably did what Saban did in the 1950's. Then Charlie Mac became the winningest coach and cemented LSU as a viable destination that Saban would consider.

Whether you are suggesting it or not, it is obvious that nationally fans consider Saban's performance at Bama in the consideration of him being the greatest LSU coach.

Now, it is another conversation to say he is the greatest coach to ever coach at LSU. I might be able to agree with you there.

This is what makes no sense. I don't really care what CLM did at OSU. Don't care what Saban did at MSU. Wouldn't care what he did at UA except he's in the way. If he went to say tOSU genro's statements would be like a Bucknut saying the same thing...which would make no sense (again).
