A lot of that also had to do with what kind of pass D numbers we put up as a team. Vlachos was an All American at one time too, but he was also a regular in DT highlight film. I think Belue has given up plays a lot like Menzie did last year : Great throws, great catches, couldn't defend it any better, etc. Has he had some bad ones? Yeah. The double move in the OPENER against UM, the play yesterday where he was, well it wasn't man coverage, but it certainly wasn't zone. We had Belue and Geno both over there, Geno was trailing (BAD) and Belue had his body going in a completely different direction when the ball was thrown.

I agree that Belue and Sunseri let alot get by them, but it seems like they both have very good tackling skills once the guy catches the ball. In the Georgia game Belue got beat but wrapped up and brought his man down...same thing with Sunseri...he was dragged for 5 yards but he didn't let go. Could both have been touch downs.
