Delusional? No. I think that's more appropriate for teams that are bad, and have a false sense of where things are going... blind faith that appear to make the fanbase look stupid - sorta thing.
Whiny? You bet your arse. Strangest bunch in the melodrama department by a light year... but the other 50% of LSU fans won me over a looooong time ago. (after joining this forum)

11-1 in 2012, 10-4 in 2011, 10-3 in 2008, 11-2 in 2007, 9-4 in 2006, 10-3 in 2005, 10-2 in 2004, etc...
They've had numerous quality years under Richt.
