Everyone fricks up from time-to-time. He should be punished, but the punishment is overkill.

I agree with you but do think 2 years is excessive.
Of course times are changing. Not sure I would want to spend years with You Tube video showing someone's nut sack on my forehead. Before the internet, this wouldn't have been as big a deal. The guy passed out has been humiliated, ended up leaving school, etc...
Some pretty serious shite went down over this.
