It's not a hard concept to understand and I do think they have improved on defense. The problem is that UGA fans would like everyone to believe this with the only proof is games against Ole Miss, Auburn, Ga South, and Ga Tech. Yes you can say they have improved defensively but is it enough to contain Alabama rushing and passing attack. I don't think we can say that with alot of confidence right now because we're only allowed to use the last four games. We really don't know to what level has UGA defense improved. Did UGA improve defensively enough to keep bad teams like Kentucky from running down their throat or did they improve enough to stop a good team like Alabama from running?

Georgia has the most NFL "ready" talent in the nation on defense. Jenkins, Ogletree, Jones, Williams, and Rambo will all have a shot at starting at rookies on several teams in the NFL next season.

However, what you should know about UGA's defense is they are very much a momentum led defense. This is why Richt doesn't mind the talk going on. If Alabama struggles early against Georgia's defense, the Bulldogs are likely to play well all night.

My analysis is this.....Alabama's defense is built to stand for a complete season....However, Georgia's defense has the potential, on any given night, to dominate and shutdown any offense in America.
